If you want to know how to answer these questions, then you're ready to start Living with AI.

Living with AI is a free online course, open and available to everyone designed to give you and the people of Scotland an introduction to the world of AI. Find out about the impact AI is having on our society and work, explore the challenges we face with AI, and discover what AI holds for us in the future.

Who is Living with AI for?

Living with AI is for everyone! Living with AI has been designed to be taken by anyone over the age of 16 and is specifically for the general public to get a better understanding of the ways in which AI is already impacting our lives and our society.

What will I learn?

Living with AI is a fun, five week course from the Scottish AI Alliance. It's perfect for anyone looking to understand this rapidly changing field, even if you have no previous background with data or AI. The weeks are as follows:

-          Week 1: What is AI?

-          Week 2: How can AI be Trustworthy, Ethical and Inclusive?

-          Week 3: AI and Society

-          Week 4: AI and the World of Work

-          Week 5: The Future of AI

Each week is divided into an array of sub-units which cover a diverse and relevant range of AI-related topics.

How much time will it take?

Living with AI takes place over five weekly sessions, with each week taking around two hours to complete. The course is self paced, meaning you can complete each week in your own time. Complete all five sessions all at once or stretch it out over a longer period of time- its up to you. This session of Living with AI will be open until the 18th of March 2024. 

You also have the opportunity to earn badges each week by completing the course quizzes and engaging in the forums. At the end of the course, you will receive a digital certificate to show you have completed Living with AI.
